How to fix a failed Hard Disk

1. Remove the drive from the system. Hook the hard disk to an USB - IDE converter. That is convert that to an external USB drive. Then hook up the USB port to a working computer. Run scan disk. This may be able to fix the corrupted disk. Sometimes, you can just read the content off the failed disk.

2. If you hear noise with the hard drive, after you've converted that to an USB drive (see item 1), you may be able to flip the disk on the side, up-side-down, etc... you have to try. You may be able to read the content from the drive.

3. There are other SW in the market that may be able to recover the disk content, but may cost $ for the SW/tool.5}W YEV0oC
